Some favourite portrait photographs
Lily and Grace with their proud grandparents. When I photograph families at home it’s nice to photograph combinations of children, parents and anybody else. A family portrait is not something you do every day so it’s nice to take advantage of the opportunity.
Sharon and family at home (L) It’s always a pleasure to photograph teenagers, not long before they fly the nest (R). James and Anna at home in Henley.
Sisters Elena and Annabelle. There’s something serene about this portrait that I like. Black and white is a favourite medium, particularly nice for children.
Thomas (L) in the garden at home in Great Missenden. I love natural children’s photographs like this. Steven and Louise, Thomas’ parents, have this portrait hanging in their hallway; it’s the first thing they see when they come home :)
Andrea and baby Olivia (R) I love the hint of a smile on Olivia.
Baby Isla and big brother Finlay.
Expressions are really important – your portrait session will be relaxed and fun, you’ll enjoy yourself more than you think you will!
A relaxed family portrait in the garden.
Individual portraits of the children. Lovely to do at the same time as the family portrait and I know how much these photographs will be treasured by the parents in years to come.
Just look at those big beautiful eyes :) Baby Kelsie, just a few weeks old.
The lovely Ho family from Crowthorne in Berkshire, complete with brand new addition to the family at the bottom :)
A portrait of young James, made especially for his grandparents. If you are a grandparent who doesn’t see as much of the grandchildren as you would like, please call me on 0118 9885088 for a chat.
Sisters Chloe and Becky at home. I always think that children feel much more relaxed at home rather than in a studio.
